Scholarships
Carlton's Walk in the Park is happy to announce that we are now accepting applications for our 2024 Jean Brethower Memorial Scholarship and our 2024 Anne Williams Memorial Scholarship. Two deserving graduating seniors from Yamhill-Carlton High School will each receive a $2,500 scholarship to the higher education institution of their choice.
Guidelines
To qualify for a WITP scholarship, you must be a graduating senior of Yamhill-Carlton High School and plan to continue your education at an accredited four-year college or university, two-year community college, or a vocational trade school program.
Awards will be based on an evaluation of academic performance, involvement in school activities, community service, leadership activities and abilities and financial need.
Each scholarship is a one-year award in the amount of $2,500. Funds will be disbursed once recipient provides the WITP foundation (via email, phone, or mail) with the name of school/program, the mailing address of financial aid and scholarship department of said school/program, and student ID number.
Application
The scholarship application deadline is May 20, 2024. All required items must be received on or before the deadline for the application to be considered.

One copy of your high school transcript
Current resumé reflecting school activities and honors, leadership activities and honors, community involvement, work history, and any other relevant information
One letter of recommendation
A one-page essay describing the following: How volunteerism and community service has impacted your life and your future education and career goals. Please also include information on our financial need for scholarship and financial aid.
